Oily skin with acne and spots

Oily skin is characterized by excessive production of sebum (seborrhea) and visible pores. It is also often accompanied by clogged pores (blackheads) and inflammatory acne arising from microcomedones. Seborrheic skin requires light, moisturizing textures and regular and mild cleansing, but also gentle chemical peeling (exfoliant) if clogged pores are present. Heavy textures and too many layers are not an ideal combination for oily and breakout-prone skin.
